As the Zero Trust Network Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for providing leadership and technical guidance over the support of the platform, infrastructure, and solution products across multiple domains/ solution areas in the Zero Trust domain, contributing to the future success of the business through innovations in technology. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following… Develop and execute GSK’s Zero Trust Network strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and cybersecurity best practices Design, implement, and manage Zero Trust Network solutions, including network segmentation, identity and access management, and continuous monitoring Collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of Zero Trust principles across the organization Assist in risk assessments and threat modeling to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies Implement security policies, standards, and procedures related to Zero Trust Network architecture Provide expert guidance and mentorship to cybersecurity team members and other IT personnel on Zero Trust principles and practices Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in Zero Trust and cybersecurity, and recommend enhancements to GSK’s security posture Coordinate with external vendors and partners to evaluate and integrate third-party Zero Trust solutions Participate with incident response efforts related to network security breaches, ensuring timely and effective resolution Prepare and present reports on Zero Trust Network initiatives, performance metrics, and security incidents to senior management Maintain solution designs (in association with architects) for all new and existing applications in the Zero Trust domain Provides leadership, technical direction and GSK expertise to project and support teams composed of GSK FTEs, outsourced resources from strategic partners and software vendors Ensure services are maintained and focused on customer value and compliance to relevant policies and procedures Maintains deep understanding of key Zero Trust technologies and their strategic directions to enable effective impact assessments of any proposed strategic changes or design choices Drive consistent approach to defining and embedding configuration and coding standards and drive continuous improvement through vendor partnerships Proactively supports Service Director to develop and deliver continuous improvement of application /infrastructure /service portfolio to enhance user productivity, increase system reliability and reduce the total cost of ownership Why you?
