We are looking for a highly skilled z/OS Mainframe Application Developer to join our dynamic team, contributing to the development and maintenance of the P1C credit card issuing application.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting enhancements to the P1C application, including both scheme compliance updates and client-requested changes. Additionally, you will provide support for multiple production instances of P1C across global locations.

What you will be doing:

Design, develop, and test enhancements to the P1C application.Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the P1C application.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.Perform z/OS application performance monitoring and tuning.Support production instances of P1C around the world. This may include providing support outside of normal business hours.

What you will need:

Proficiency in COBOL, Assembler, and JCL.Experience with the P1C application.Strong knowledge of DB2 and SQL.Experience with z/OS performance tuning.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to provide support outside of business hours when necessary.
 

Added bonus if you have:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in credit card issuing.Knowledge of the REXX programming language.Experience with CICSPLEX systems
