Position Overview: 
The Overnight Youth Care Specialist Supervisor has supervisory responsibility for the overnight Youth Care Specialist (YCS) staff of all units.  This entails responsibility for ensuring that a safe and therapeutic cottage environment is maintained during the hours of 11:00 p.m.-8:00 a.m.  The Overnight Supervisor visits their assigned cottages throughout the night to make certain that Overnight YCS staff is alert and performing their duties in an effective manner.

Position Qualifications:

College degree preferred. Security Guard License required. A minimum of three years Youth Care Specialist experience at The Children’s Village, or a minimum of five years of similar experience at another residential treatment center or related experience in the field of safety and security. Ability to manage and promote a therapeutic environment, taking into account the varying clinical needs of each child.
