Responsibilities We are seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, and inspiring Yoga/Mind-Body Instructor to lead classes that promote physical strength, mental clarity, and emotional well-being. This role involves teaching mind-body practices such as yoga, breathing, meditation, tai chi, or other modalities that integrate movement with mindfulness. The ideal candidate will empower individuals of all levels to connect with their bodies, reduce stress, and enhance overall health. Key Responsibilities Lead engaging, safe, and effective mind-body classes tailored to participants’ needs and skill levels Offer guidance on breathwork, posture, alignment, and mindfulness practices Create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all participants Provide modifications or progressions as needed to accommodate injuries, limitations, or varied experience Educate clients about the principles of mind-body integration and its benefits Maintain class energy and flow while ensuring participant safety and engagement Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices Set up and clean up equipment or space before and after sessions A Yoga Alliance certification is required. Weekend availability is a must! Pay starts at $25 per hour. Qualifications To be success in this role, you’ll need: A minimum of two years teaching experience in the fitness industry required. A college degree relating to fitness preferred (physical education, exercise science, dance, etc.) with a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. CPR certification and basic first aid knowledge required. You'll be expected to: Must maintain CEC’s to keep National Group Exercise and Personal Training Certifications current. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to motivate and work with a diverse group of people. #LI-CP1
