Pertemps Education is working in partnership with a primary school in Uxbridge to recruit a Part-Time Year 1 Class Teacher for a September 2025 start.

Location: Uxbridge 
Start Date: September 2025 
Contract: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Long-Term 
Salary: M3 – UPS3 + Outer London Allowance (Pro Rata) 
 
About the Role: 
Teach a Year 1 class on a part-time basis Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum Create a safe, stimulating classroom environment that encourages progress and curiosity Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and meet the needs of all pupils Work collaboratively with the parallel Year 1 teacher and wider KS1 team Communicate positively with parents and carers Engage with school life, including team planning and key stage meetings  
The Ideal Candidate Will: 
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have recent experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 1 Demonstrate strong planning, assessment, and behaviour management skills Be reflective, organised, and committed to high standards Be a positive and collaborative team player Be passionate about making learning enjoyable and accessible for all pupils
