BENFITS: + Profit Sharing + Store Discount + Insurance – Medical and Dental + 401(k) + Paid Vacations + Paid Holidays + Additional premium pay for 2nd shift and weekends + Additional yard horse pay after initial training is completed PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: + Safely and efficiently move trailers to different areas of the facility + Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working conditions while driving and operating equipment in order to ensure personal safety and the safety of others + Open and close swinging trailer doors. + Ensure proper freight securement of all loaded trailers + Ability to work accurately with numbers and perform simple mathematical calculations + Communicate with area supervisors using a yard management system to ensure proper placement of trailers + Perform pre-trip inspection on trailers + Perform safety check of tractor vehicle prior to operation + Basic mechanical skills. Skills/Requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS: + Must possess a good driving record + Experience operating tractor/trailer or willingness to learn + CDL license preferred but not required + Enjoy working outdoors + Proof of valid driver’s license Apply To This Job
