Our client, a leader in logistics and distribution, is seeking a Yard Goat Operator to join their team. As a Yard Goat Operator, you will be part of the operations team supporting efficient yard management. The ideal candidate will have strong spatial awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Yard Goat Operator

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

What's the Job?

Safely maneuver yard tractors to move trailers within a warehouse or distribution center yard. Position trailers for loading and unloading, ensuring efficient operations and a well-organized yard environment. Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation. Coordinate with yard personnel to maintain a smooth workflow. Accurately log container movements and working hours.

What's Needed?

Proven experience operating yard goats or similar equipment. Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
