Pay: $19.25/hr

General Job Description:

Responsible for scanning, weighing and labeling all products coming in and out the receiving cooler. Perform movement of reefer trailers for load out. Ensures inventory is 100% accurate during the production day.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

Scan combos of product leaving and entering the cooler

Weigh and create labels for combos

Communicate with Leaders and Control Room about combo/trailer movement

Track and process combos going onto trailers for load outs

Ensure inventory is 100% accurate throughout the production day

Compare physical counts and computer counts 

Perform inventory audits

Monitor trailers for proper temperatures and fuel levels

Perform movement of reefer trailers for combo load out

Keep the area clean

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality

Ability to obtain pallet jacket & forklift certification

Ability to learn to drive a shag truck

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Detail oriented

Ability to work independently and multi-task

Must have valid state issued driver’s license

Willing to have MVR ran with no DWI/DUIs in the last 12 months

Basic computer skills

Ability to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment

Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures

Must be at least 18 yrs of age

Must have authorization to work in the US

Physical Requirements / Environment: 

Stand/Walk: Frequently

 Lift/Carry:  Frequently (up to 30 lbs.)  

Push/Pull: Frequently (5 to 15 lbs.)

Grasp: Frequently (scanner

Physical Environment: Continuously: Working around moving machinery, working in a damp, slippery and cold environment (Below 40° F)

MVR requirements

18 years of age

Valid state driver's license

No DUI/DWI’s in the last 12 months


External Requirement: 6-month production experience listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months)

Rehire Consideration:

Max of two (2) previous Tyson Employments to be considered for hire. 90 days (3 months) waiting period.
