\n\nThe core responsibilities of this role include Operating a Yard Truck 100% of the day.\n\nPerforming an inspection of the Yard Truck prior to operation.\nProperly hooking and unhooking to trailers.\nInspecting trailers for damage/unsafe conditions and reporting them to management.\nProperly closing, latching, and sealing loaded trailers.\nMust adhere to all site safety rules.\nOccasional operation of an Armadillo Street sweeper when conditions are favorable.\n\nResponsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Yard.\nOccasional conduction of a Fuel Check.\n\nMaking sure all loaded trailer’s Refrigeration Unit is running.\nChecking for adequate fuel level.\nReporting any issues/alarms found with a unit to management.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPosition: Yard Driver non-DOT
\nShift: 3rd Shift –; Monday –; Thursday, Sunday 11pm –; 7am
\nPay: $21.75 plus $1.50 shift differential
\nAdditional Skills/Experience Required

Role Purpose:
Drives switching equipment, tractors, and straight trucks to transport goods or equipment to and from designated locations. Makes decisions in sequencing schedule to maintain efficient loading and unloading operations. Loads and unloads trailers and verifies product count. Maintains a clean and safe docking area and reports any maintenance or safety issues to supervision. Refuels vehicles on site and documents locations and condition of equipment.
Key Accountabilities:
Maintain safe and efficient dock operation by switching trailers and equipment to and from docks.Maintains equipment fuel levels and refuels equipment during appropriate times.Loads and unloads trucks, verifying the count and condition of product. Reports overages, shortages, and damages.Performs daily yard checks.Properly secures loads, ensuring loads are within local, state and federal guidelines.Prepares and maintains accurate records and/or logs as required policies and procedures.Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water. Notifies supervision of current or anticipated repair needs.Complies with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.Required Education and Experience:
