The Yale Athletics Fellowship Program’s purpose is to engage and cultivate young professionals interested in working in college athletics. As an Event Management Fellow, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all facets of gameday operations and event management, supporting a range of events including Ivy League and NCAA Championships. You will be reporting directly to the Senior Associate Athletic Director of Event Management. Over the course of your fellowship, you will progressively take on more responsibility, culminating in full ownership as the event manager for Yale varsity events during their season. The goal of this role is for you to take on managerial responsibility for select Yale Athletics home events, ensuring smooth operations and delivering exceptional fan experiences. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop managerial skills while contributing to the success of our athletic events. The Fellowship is a paid fixed duration non-benefit flexible hour position.

Minimum Qualifications

Interest in working in college athletics Strong communication and organizational skills Must hold or be on track to graduate with a bachelor’s degree before the start of this position Must have a valid driver’s license and have a car to drive to multiple events and facilities Fellows may be expected to assist nights, weekends, and holidays Job is in-person in New Haven, Connecticut
