We are seeking a dependable and compassionate X-Ray Technologist to join our Urgent Care team. In this blended role, you'll perform high-quality diagnostic imaging while supporting both clinical and administrative tasks to ensure a seamless patient experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered, in accordance with department protocols and safety standards. Operate radiologic equipment with attention to image quality, radiation safety, and patient comfort. Support front desk operations including patient registration, intake, and documentation. Assist providers with exams and clinical procedures, including specimen collection. Monitor and maintain equipment, supplies, and inventory. Collaborate with clinical staff to support quality care and patient satisfaction. Follow established protocols to ensure compliance and high standards of care.
Schedule & Work Location: Part Time | 8:15 AM – 8:30 PM
*Shifts may include weekends and holidays
**This position requires flexibility to travel to various nearby centers as scheduled:(1) 12-hour shift per week at our Egg Harbor Township location
(1) 12-hour shift per week at an alternate location based on departmental needs
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.Licensure/Certification
BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers required Licensed by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) required Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), R.T.(R). If registry-eligible, registration must be obtained within one year of hire or transfer.Experience
1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred New graduates are encouraged to apply Ability to focus on fine detail and multitask in an environment with frequent interruptions Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred; if not proficient at time of hire, training will be provided, with competency expected within 30–60 days
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Potential exposure to clinical hazards including infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, hazardous substances, and electromagnetic radiation. Requires frequent standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing, and pulling. Physical demands and essential functions are outlined in the department-specific Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
