You might be just who we are looking for! **Duties include:** + Active role in performing DR/CT X-Rays, summarizing test results, and providing reports. + Translate hands on experience to find technological solutions to improve processes and procedures + Make technical decisions based on skills and training in the use of test equipment and associated systems + Notify and discuss technical problems with engineering personnel, contractors, or other government representatives as necessary **Minimum Requirements:** + Vocational/technical training beyond high school in radiography + 2-3 years of experience performing DR/CT X-ray Scans + Prior experience with Ionizing radiation safety and handling + Understanding and utilization of laboratory safety practices, including chemical safety + Ability to engage with a multidisciplinary team of technicians, scientists, and engineers + Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint + Strong written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. + Ability to identify and support opportunities for process improvements through fixture design and integrating new techniques + Ability to pass and maintain a DoD Security Clearance (Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a clearance) **Preferred Qualifications:** + 2- year degree in radiography + 3+ years of working experience in the field of Radiography + Active Secret Clearance + Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint + Experience in laboratory environments, including operation of microscopes and other analytical equipment + Basic knowledge of microelectronic construction and materials Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
