Job Title: X-Ray Technician
Job Description

The X-Ray Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic medical x-rays and adhering to proper techniques as outlined in the x-ray scope of practice manual. This position also involves conducting laboratory testing procedures in various disciplines such as Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry, along with performing phlebotomy tasks including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.

ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic medical x-rays following established procedures.Conduct laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry.Execute phlebotomy tasks including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.Maintain compliance with the x-ray scope of practice manual.Collaborate with the lab team and report to the Lab Manager.Essential SkillsARRT certificationBXMO or BMO certificationCPR and BLS certificationPhlebotomy experienceFlorida Department of Health License as Radiologic Technologist or Basic Machine OperatorAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification1 year of experience with x-ray in a healthcare settingAdditional Skills & QualificationsAssociates degreeGraduation from a Radiology program (RT or BMO)Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferredWork Environment

The role offers flexibility with options for full-time or part-time shifts, primarily morning hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with alternating Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Enjoy a great team culture with opportunities for cross-training in lab roles. The position reports directly to the Lab Manager.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $51979.20 - $62275.20/yr.
