The Worldwide Operations' Workplace Health and Safety Team is looking for an Associate Safety Committee Program Manager to help implement program enhancements and track completion across our global network. This individual will develop programs to encourage employee engagement with workplace safety across global operations within the Amazon Operations Network (i.e., Fulfillment Centers, Amazon Stores, Transportation Network, Prime Air, as well as new business ventures that remain to be seen).
Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Maintain and enhance a comprehensive Associate Safety Committee program across global operations (NA/EU/AAL).
• Monitor implemented solutions to ensure compliance with program requirements across global operations (NA/EU/AAL).
• Maintain and enhance wiki platform to communicate key standards, procedures and best practices.
• Assist in conducting analysis of program aspects to assess value, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to continuous enhancements.
• Ability to quickly earn and maintain trust.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to manage newly developed projects and programs independently and often in an ambiguous environment.
• Responsible for analyzing relevant data, writing white papers and strategic program documentation (e.g., Technical Whitepaper, WBR, MBR etc.).
• Create regular reports on program performance and trends.
• Collaborate with on-site safety teams and operations personnel to gather feedback, identify improvement opportunities, and implement enhancements to the Associate Safety Committee program.
• Conduct case review and communicate effectively to align team members with stakeholder requirements.
• Earns trust by driving process improvements by capturing gaps and proposing, developing solutions or mechanisms to bridge them.
• Work with regional safety teams to maintain global consistency while considering local requirements.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience handling confidential information
- Experience with MS Office, Excel, data retrieval/mining skills using data warehouse systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
