Overview + Department: Outpatient Wound Care + Schedule: Full Time, 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday + Hospital: Resurrection Medical Center + Location: Chicago, IL 60631 Responsibilities The Wound Care RN provides direct care in the outpatient wound care clinic. They communicate with physicians / charge nurse / co – workers, as appropriate regarding changes in the patient’s treatment, clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies. They respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state. 2. BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current. 3. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred. 4. Previous Wound care knowledge and or experience preferred (1 Year). 5. Wound Care Certification within first year of hire. 6. Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Certification preferred. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.35 to $53.58.
