**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **Wound Care Nurse** **Location:** Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring **Schedule:** Day **Position Purpose** Are you passionate about improving patient outcomes through expert wound, skin, and ostomy care? At Holy Cross Health, we are looking for a skilled **Wound Care Nurse** who brings both clinical expertise and compassionate care to our interdisciplinary team. You’ll play a key role in assessing, planning, and delivering care that promotes healing and supports our mission of service to the community. **What You Will Do** + Conduct comprehensive wound, skin, and ostomy assessments across all age groups + Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on clinical findings + Provide education to patients, families, and staff regarding wound prevention and management + Collaborate with physicians, providers, and healthcare team members to coordinate optimal patient care + Support the mission of Holy Cross Health and Trinity Health, delivering care with compassion and excellence + Deliver care with sensitivity to the unique physical and psychosocial needs of patients, from neonates to geriatric populations **Minimum Qualifications** + WCC (Wound Care Certification) preferred + Current RN license in good standing with the Maryland Board of Nursing + BLS certification + Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting + Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication + Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and assist with patient handling and movement + If not active in direct patient care within the past 5 years, must have completed a nursing refresher course + Proficiency in English: reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension **Position Highlights** + Work in a mission-driven, patient-focused environment + Make a direct impact in wound healing, quality of life, and patient education + Collaborate with dedicated professionals who share your passion for excellence in care + Opportunity to care for a **diverse patient population** in a **dynamic healthcare system** **Pay rate:** $40.99 - $61.49 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
