Workspace Operations Coordinator
Description We are looking for a skilled Workspace Operations Coordinator to manage and support day-to-day office facility operations in Lombard, Illinois. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining a safe, efficient, and well-organized workspace by handling administrative tasks, overseeing maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and development. Responsibilities: • Conduct regular inspections of office facilities and coordinate necessary maintenance and repairs. • Organize and assist with workspace setups, including workstation adjustments and office relocations. • Maintain inventory levels for office supplies and manage procurement processes. • Schedule and supervise vendor services to ensure quality and timely execution. • Perform routine safety assessments and ensure adherence to workplace safety protocols. • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, vendor services, and safety compliance. • Support the Workspace Operations Lead in implementing workspace improvement initiatives. • Respond to employee requests related to facilities, supplies, and workspace adjustments. • Document facility issues and prepare reports on workspace utilization and operational efficiency. • Manage incoming inquiries regarding facilities and escalate issues when required. Requirements • High school diploma required; certifications in facilities management or related fields are a plus. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in office or facilities support roles. • Proficiency in CRM tools and data processing systems. • Strong skills in compliance monitoring and auditing processes. • Experience in administrative assistance, including managing records and responding to inquiries. • Ability to handle inbound calls and coordinate events effectively. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Familiarity with workplace safety standards and protocols.
