Workshop Technician

Liebherr is recruiting for a Workshop Technician role currently being advertised in Mackay. The role is responsible for the provision of; safe, efficient and compliant diagnostic, maintenance and component replacements services to the Division’s customer base.

About You An Australian Trade Qualification Large Excavator/Haul truck equipment experience High Risk Licence LF & DG & EWP - desirable Working at Heights certificate – desirable Liebherr Mining experience - desirable

Key Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic, maintenance and component replacement service  Diagnose and rectify electrical faults  Repair damaged or faulty parts by machining & welding or fabricating new parts Diagnose faults of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components of mobile equipment Active involvement in the continuous improvement of the Product Support process Assist with new equipment builds and modifications   Benefits Work on some of the world’s largest and most technically advanced equipment Above award hourly rates, opportunity for over time  Generous employee benefits, including 5 days bonus leave days, ability to purchase additional leave paid parental leave, early access to LSL, wide range of company discounts and retail discount program
