The UCLA Health Workplace Violence Prevention (WPVP) Program Manager is responsible for oversight of the WPVP program throughout UCLA Health hospitals; providing expert knowledge and skills in applying and interpreting state, federal and local regulations. The Workplace Violence Prevention Program Manager will have strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including advanced political acumen and skill to effectively communicate with diverse constituencies. The WPVP Program manager will have advanced skills in effectively representing the organization to state and federal authorities, and community groups. They will have advanced analytical and organizational skills to organize, prioritize and manage the WPVP program and all related incident reports, including but not limited to, follow-up and reporting requirements to the state for incidents of WPV. The Workplace Violence Prevention Program Manager is responsible for data collection related to WPV incidents, analysis of data to determine trends and mitigate the likelihood of future incidents and reporting of that data to various workgroups and committees.
The WPV Program Manager will apply expert investigative methods to follow up on incident reports and ensure timely regulatory reporting and follow up on corrective action. Coach, counsel and train UCLA Health managers and employees in WPVP, enhancing awareness, problem solving and planning.
