Through tailored training and leadership development, you’ll drive operational excellence and embed a culture of learning across the business
Location: South Australia or Victoria (1 position available) Regional travel required, with some interstate travel
What You'll Be Doing
You’ll work closely with front-line crews and leaders to identify and deliver on-site development needs, facilitate onboarding and qualification pathways, and instil a strong learning culture across the business. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting training needs analyses and identifying skills gaps Delivering targeted, in-field coaching and mentoring aligned to operational needs Facilitating leadership programs to develop current and emerging frontline leaders Supporting workplace-based learning, including inductions and practical skill sessions Promoting and guiding participation in industry qualification training for trainees and apprentices Assessing competency and maintaining accurate, timely training records Designing and delivering learning content tailored to field operations Contributing to the development of core skill standards and plant competency frameworks Supporting communication, soft skills, and leadership training initiatives Promoting a culture of continuous learning and growthWhat You’ll Bring
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Proven hands-on experience in the roading industry. Experience in Asphalt Surfacing would be an advantage. An understanding of adult learning and organisational training principles Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities A passion for developing people and sharing expertise Experience delivering leadership or soft skills training is highly valued Strong communication and time management skills The ability to work autonomously and stay self-motivated, while thriving in a remote, regionally dispersed team Comfort navigating high-pressure environments and stakeholder engagement Proficiency with Microsoft Office and online learning systems A current Driver’s License Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain)Why Join Us
