Workplace Amenities Specialist
**Job Summary:** Under general supervision, uses knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience in on-site activities and workplace amenities. Responsible for oversight of the fitness center including teaching group exercise classes, and instructional programs, scheduling and onboarding contractors, and maintaining the fitness center. Leads engagement and communications activities for the Memphis fitness center and philanthropy partners focusing on corporate associates and employee advisors. Requires strong collaboration and relationships with leadership teams, HR and Memphis Site Leaders to support general workplace amenity requests and specific site needs for the Memphis associates. **Responsibilities:** Amenity and Fitness Center Responsibilities • Maintains fitness reports on membership and program statistics and activities. • Collaborates with leadership on developmental planning and programming of onsite firm activities, events, and department educational training. • Responsible for building relationships with the associate population to engage, grow, and retain members. • Ensures fitness center is properly maintained in regard to cleanliness and safety standards and responds to member’s feedback. • Meets with the Senior Manager and communicates information and updates to the staff. • Works with the Marketing, Communication, & HR Wellness Teams to promote and engage associates in fitness efforts. • Partners with the Corporate Responsibility manager to engage strategic Raymond James Cares relationship and engagement opportunities for the Memphis campus. • Serves and performs fitness attendant duties when applicable. • Adheres to the Fitness Center Policies and Procedures and sets expectations for contractors. • Assists in the design and development, with the use of templates, forms, and flyers to be utilized in daily facility operations and department marketing materials. • Logs and reports any issues or incidents directly communicating to leadership in a timely manner. • Event Coordination • Works with business unit managers and Memphis Site leaders to develop campus communication strategies for Memphis associates. • Leads and/or coordinates community and charity events such as the American Heart Association Mid Heart South Walk, St. Jude Walk for Kids, School Supply Drives, and Food Drives. • Works with Home Office committee chairs to organize and execute employee amenity events such as Health and Wellness Fairs, Sustainability Fairs and Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiatives. • Coordinates with site leaders and HR for associate events, Town Halls and. Quarterly Updates. • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Knowledge of** • Thorough knowledge of fitness and wellness aspects. • Knowledge of project management and event planning. • Must possess a thorough knowledge of fitness and wellness aspects. • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing. • Strong organizational skills required to balance a variety of tasks with a high degree of competence and accuracy. • Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization. • Operate standard office equipment and use required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, and spreadsheets. **Skill in** • Administering fitness classes, programs, and contractor schedules. • Guiding a fitness center in a corporate environment. **Ability to** • Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing. • Motivate and negotiate effectively with fitness center members. • Work a flexible schedule to accommodate the hours of the fitness center. • Track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a work environment. • Complete incident reports when necessary. **Educational/Previous Experience Requirements** • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of experience teaching health/wellness and group fitness classes • Certified Personal Training experience and knowledge preferred • OR ~ • Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources **Licenses/Certifications** • One or more related certifications from a nationally recognized organization (NASM, NSCA, ACSM, ACE, AFAA, ISSA) • CPR/First Aid Certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire
