DHL’s Customer Solutions & Innovation (CSI), one of the business units of DHL, is a globally dedicated organization which simplifies the DHL customer experience by providing a single customer interface and developing innovative industry-tailored solutions for DHL’s largest global customers. As part of the HR Team you will work with us to provide the best HR related services to our approx. 500 colleagues globally.  Come discover the unique, international spirit of DHL where your commitment is recognized and rewarded.

 

You will be able to flexibly set up your working arrangements between 16 and 20 hrs/week, depending on your availability. We currently aim for September 1st as your starting date - but we are flexible on that. We want to work with you for 6 months, at least - extending the position after that is possible and based on the actual demand.

   

Your Tasks

Support the implementation of HR initiatives such as LEADS EMEA, Recruiting, Employee Opinion Surveys (EOS), and Learning and Development across the CSI organization. Assist in annual HR processes, including performance management, development, onboarding of new employees, and various administrative tasks related to the Employee Life Cycle. Contribute to global HR projects and organize employee engagement activities to enhance workplace culture. Review and update employee data on internal DHL portals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HR-related legislation. Maintain HR records, assist in reporting, and document processes to improve operational efficiency. Develop presentations and training materials to introduce new tools and systems within the HR environment.  

Your profile

Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. You just started your Master program and live somewhere in the region of Cologne/Bonn, Germany Ideally, you have gained first experience in recruiting, employer branding, marketing, event organization topics and/or administrative tasks Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English, German a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and familiar with tools like Power BI and ChatGPT and others for automation and efficiency. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and ensure data accuracy. Problem-solving mindset with the capability to navigate HR issues. Demonstrates initiative and proactivity in driving projects and HR initiatives forward. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to employee engagement activities.
