In this position you will support the international team in managing the global network infrastructure.
The job is part-time and can be done remotely on a daily basis as well as on site at the Göttingen campus.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
You will support the monitoring and maintenance of the network infrastructure
Assist in analyzing and resolving network and security incidents (especially ticket dispatching)
You will be involved in the creation and maintenance of documentation and processes in the area of network and security (e.g. internal warehouse management)
Supporting the team in projects such as the rollout of new technologies or migration projects rounds off your area of responsibility
What will convince us
Currently enrolled student in the field of computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering or a comparable degree programme
Basic knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, routing, switching) is an advantage
Initial experience in the field of IT security is desirable
You are characterized by a high degree of willingness to learn and initiative
Analytical thinking and a structured way of working are among your strengths
Good German and very good English skills round off your profile
