Workfront Lead Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workfront Lead Engineer with strong business process understanding to join our dynamic and growing Digital Customer Engagement Team. This role will be responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of Adobe Workfront implementations across business units, ensuring seamless integration with other enterprise systems and driving operational efficiency.

You will be working with marketing, sales and services teams to understand their business processes, while brainstorming with peer technical team to ensure Workfront processes designs meet an established set of principles and standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a real impact and help shape Agilent's customers digital experience. 

What you'll do:

Lead the end-to-end implementation and configuration of Adobe Workfront for business process transformation.Adobe Workfront Administration: Administering Adobe Workfront, including user management, permissions, project setup, and configuration.Customization and configuration: Experience in customizing and configuring Adobe Workfront to meet specific project requirements, including creating custom fields, forms, and workflows. Adobe Workfront expertise: Familiarity with Adobe Workfront and its capabilities, including task tracking, collaboration, and reporting functionalities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PMO, Marketing, IT, and Operations to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workfront solutions.Design and maintain custom workflows, templates, reports, dashboards, and automations within Workfront.Integrate Workfront with other enterprise tools such as Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Creative cloud, Jira, Salesforce, WeChat and Microsoft O365 using Fusion or APIs.Provide thought leadership in business process automation.Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users and stakeholders.Provide expert knowledge on APIs and how an integration can be leveraged to achieve a desired outcome, indicating potential scenarios to consider before implementing. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity and security.Stay updated with Workfront product updates and best practices to continuously improve system usage.Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.8+ years of experience in enterprise application development, with at least 3 years in Workfront implementation and administration.Strong understanding of Workfront architecture, Fusion integrations, and API usage.Experience in designing complex workflows, custom forms, and reporting solutions.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional initiatives.Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Ability to analyze problems and find effective solutions, particularly under pressure.Must have an expert knowledge of building cross-browser user interfaces.Ability to rapidly iterate through prototypesExpert knowledge of JavaScript native libraries.Excellent understanding of Web Optimization strategies to improve page performance including a deep understanding of lighthouse auditing and optimization strategies.Understanding of security best practices for enterprise platforms.Understanding of Digital Asset Management systems (DAM) like AEM assets.Experience with one of the public cloud providers AWS, Azure or GCP.Experience with using code assistant AI tools like Github Copilot or Claude.

Additional Preferred Skills:

Workfront Fusion certification or Adobe Workfront Core Developer certification.Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem.Knowledge of scripting languages (JavaScript, Python) for custom integrations.Exposure to enterprise environments in global organizations.Experience working with teams across time zones and cultures.Familiarity with data privacy and compliance standards relevant to India (e.g., DPDP Act).Experience with eCommerce domain and AEM or similar CMS is preferred.Familiarity with design patterns, developer tools, HTML, and CSSProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as gitExperience with testing libraries (like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress) to ensure code quality.
