Job Summary

Leads the digital workforce technology IT support functions for Executive, Desktop, AV, Catastrophe, and Real Estate Technology. Oversees a team that provides support to a global workforce, ensuring consistent, high-quality service aligned with business needs. Serves as the primary technology contact for senior executives, delivering direct, high-touch support. Applies an engineering mindset to drive continuous improvement, resolve root causes, and enhance service reliability. Leverages AI and automation to streamline operations, reduce manual effort, and proactively prevent recurring issues.

 

This is a hybrid role to our Woodland Hills, CA office. 

What You'll Do Ensures consistent and high-quality user experience in assigned IT support functions, including directly providing high-level support to senior executives; managing desktop and AV support operations through the resolution of incidents and proactive system maintenance; supporting readiness and coordination for catastrophe-related technology; and supporting technology infrastructure in physical workspaces. Drives root cause analysis and proactively implements sustainable solutions with an engineering mindset. Leverages automation and AI to optimize process and improve support delivery and efficiency. Partners with architecture, infrastructure, and third-party business leaders to ensure alignment on support strategies, escalation protocols, integration, and services quality. Leads and mentors a globally distributed team. Develops and manages service level agreements, key performance indicators, and performance metrics, including internal employees and external vendors. Fosters a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Resolves critical, complex, or high-impact service desk incidents that are escalated directly. Evaluates and authorizes work request, develops work orders, and reviews cost estimates. Plans, monitors, and reports on support performance. Defines and executes acceptance criteria and user acceptance testing for support initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT support or infrastructure environment. Minimum 2 years of experience in a people leader role. Experience with enterprise collaboration tools, endpoint management platforms, and remote support technologies preferred. Education You'll Need High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred in Information Technology or related field. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or Apple Certified Support Professional certifications preferred. Additional Qualifications Ability to build strong customer relationships. Able to manage escalations and communications with executives and internal and external stakeholders. Possesses strong technical aptitude. Deep understanding of enterprise collaboration tools, endpoint management platforms, and remote support technologys including Windows/macOS, Microsoft 365, and AV systems. Knowledge of AI and automation tools and scripting. Strong verbal communication and listening skills. Demonstrated written communication skills. Capable of composing reports, technical documentation, and service performance summaries. Quickly troublseshoots and resolves problems. Able to resolve technical issues live for large meetings, in physical and virtual workspaces, and for a global user base. Excellent collaboration and team building skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including the IT Service Desk, infrastructure, and engineering teams. Physical Actions

Job is performed in-person at a Farmers office or virtually at an approved alternative work location. The physical work environment is indoors and climate-controlled with adequate lighting and ventilation. Normal and customary distractions include background noise produced by office equipment and chatter among people, as well as interruptions. Frequently sits for prolonged periods of time, up to a full shift. Occasionally moves about the workplace including, navigating stairs, ramps, and level or uneven surfaces. Occasionally moves, pushes, pulls, lifts, carries, and/or places objects or materials weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Frequently uses shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers to manipulate equipment, tools, and objects necessary to perform job duties. Frequently performs fine motor tasks such as typing, mousing, or writing, up to a full shift. Rarely performs movements such as bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, twisting, and reaching overhead or below the knees. Possesses clear vision, with or without correction, to visually read and verify information. Relies on depth perception and peripheral vision to navigate the work environment visually by identifying barriers, changes in terrain and locating objects. Possesses adequate hearing, with or without correction, to communicate with co-workers, respond promptly to auditory signals or alarms, and discern sounds essential for maintaining safety and productivity in the workplace.
