Workforce Technology Engineer

About the role

 

The Workforce Technology Support team provides end user support services to our associates across our offices in Nottingham and London. Supporting a range of technologies including endpoint (Windows and Mac), meeting room tech/auditorium and digital signage.

This is a hands-on technical role so a strong technical background is required. There will also be the opportunity to manage a team member so this would be ideal for an experienced engineer looking to take their first steps into leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Ownership of the support experience for our London based associates.Manage incidents in person at the IT bar and remotely.Manage requests, changes and problems.Oversee events in the auditoriumEnsure meeting room tech and digital signage is functioning correctlyService improvements

What are we looking for?

Strong technical knowledge in End User Compute technologies including Windows 11, MacOS, Virtual Desktops (AWS Workspaces), Mobile, VC (preferably Zoom) and digital signage platforms.Technical knowledge of management tools including Intune, Jamf, Airwatch.Technical knowledge of Google WorkspaceKnowledge of ServiceNow, Jira and ConfluenceEffective communication with associates at all levels, both technical and non-technical.Stakeholder managementAbility to work autonomously whilst being part of a wider team.

Where and how you'll work

This is a permanent position based in our London office.  

We have a hybrid working model which gives you flexibility to work from our offices and from home. 

We’re big on collaboration and connection, so you’ll be based in our London office 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
