Workforce Strategy and Planning Intern - Part Time for a Student

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented student to join our IT Talent Enablement team as a Workforce Strategy and Planning Intern. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our Headcount Governance Tool, addressing user queries primarily through email communication, and managing access rights.


Your ability to navigate ambiguity and apply common sense will be crucial as you support workforce planning processes within our IT organization. You will be expected to utilize multiple information sources to resolve queries effectively and provide insightful recommendations.


The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, particularly in written correspondence, experience in handling customer queries, and a genuine interest in talent development. Your proactive approach and critical thinking will help us enhance our workforce strategy.


The position offers multiple learning opportunities, including exposure to workforce planning strategies, mentorship from experienced team members, and the possibility to learn how to use Power BI.



Interning as a Workforce Strategy and Planning Intern, you will:

Oversee the Headcount Governance Tool, administer its inbox, and respond to user queries in a timely manner.Gain a detailed understanding of the Headcount Governance Tool's business processes and provide feedback for improvements.Collaborate with developers on enhancements to the Headcount Governance Tool, providing feedback from a business process perspective.Deliver training and guidance to IT leaders and stakeholders on the effective utilization of the Headcount Governance Tool.Collaborate with the Workforce Planning team to comprehend and update workforce plans, ensuring data precision and alignment with business objectives.Conduct regular data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the dashboards.Identify and propose enhancements to workforce planning processes and methodologies based on data analysis.

What should you know / have:

Strong communication skills.Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.Keen attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.Adaptability to a dynamic work environment where priorities and requirements may change.Advanced proficiency in English.Experience in customer support is preferred.Ability to work 20 hours a week across at least 3-4 working days.This position is hybrid, with an expectation of 2-3 days in the office.
