Workforce Planning Coordinator

We currently have an opportunity for a Workforce Planning Coordinator.  Join our Downer Professional Services (DPS) team and play a key role in ensuring the efficient allocation of resources to meet business demands, while maximising the utilisation of the DPS workforce. Reporting to Strategic Workforce Planning Lead, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

 

This is a contract role until 30th June 2026. We are only able to consider Australian Citizens for this opportunity as the ability to obtain and maintain Baseline Security Clearance is essential.

 

What You’ll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

Workforce Planning Administration; formatting CVs, supporting Subcontracts Manager with drafting subcontractor contracts, entering resource details into relevant systems, and facilitating the completion of customer onboarding paperwork to ensure a seamless transition and timely commencement of resources on engagements.Support the Strategic Workforce Planning Lead by analysing workforce data and drafting reports on skill supply and demand, offering valuable insights to inform workforce planning decisions.Collaborate with the People & Culture team to coordinate new starter onboarding and induction processes, as well as supporting the Subcontractor Manager with induction activities for subcontractors and service delivery partners.Contribute to wider P&C programs that support employee retention and development, including training, career development, and performance management.

Generate and maintain reports related to workforce utilisation, CREW, and resource allocation activities.

 

What You’ll Bring

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources or a related field (desirable)Significant experience in Coordination or Administration role, ideally in the Professional Services or Management Consulting industry.Experience in a Recruitment/HR/Project related administration role.Experience collaborating across teams and liaising with internal stakeholders to implement resourcing strategies to meet customer needs.

The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance to the required level, currently Baseline (must be an Australian Citizen).
