This role is part of the Integrated Workforce Strategies Chapter within the People & Culture organization. Our purpose is to enable the business to achieve its ambitious goals while anticipating and adapting to a rapidly changing environment. We elevate the way leaders shape our future workforce by providing data-driven, skills-based workforce planning solutions to the business, such as Strategic Workforce Planning. We are also developing Roche-wide innovative frameworks to support closing our gaps (e.g. borrowing skills by leveraging external partners, bridging skill gaps by flowing skills to the most impactful work). Shaping new planning solutions, creating insights and automating processes as well as working with cross-functional partners offers you great learning opportunities.
The Opportunity
As an intern in the Workforce Optimization team for a 6-month period, your main focus will be learning about Workforce Strategies / Strategic Workforce Planning at Roche and innovative concepts of closing skill gaps, e.g. External Workforce, People Fluidity and Skills-based Organizations.
You will analyze data, generate reports and insights, prepare presentations and drive data-driven recommendations for decision making. You also contribute to the automation of our analytics and you implement innovative ideas to create efficiencies in our data & insights world. You closely collaborate with the experts in the field in an agile working environment characterized by empowerment, open communication and willingness to test new ideas.
Who you are
You are enrolled to a Hungarian University in the field of economics, business administration, HR Management, STEM subjects or similar
Ideally, you already have had first (previous internship) experience in HR, Procurement and/or project management
You have a passion for conceptual and data-driven working
You can address complex problems and develop effective solutions
You think creatively and you enjoy supporting projects (e.g. workshop preparation, creation of effective presentations)
You have expertise in Office or Google Suite, esp. Excel or GoogleSheets, Data analysis; experience with SQL is a plus
You are motivated to work independently in a collaborative and dynamic environment and can adapt to different needs
You have a can-do attitude and growth mindset
You demonstrate a high level of social competence and are able to communicate efficiently in English
