Workforce and Stakeholder Engagement Manager

About the role:

We are currently looking for a Workforce and Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join our ACT Construction business, and support the team on a long-term project to deliver social, economic and community benefit outcomes, as well as work on wider Workforce Development and Stakeholder

The role will have two key areas of focus:

Stakeholder and Community Engagement – Leading engagement and communication activities with a diverse range of project stakeholders and community representatives.

Workforce Development and Industry Participation - Delivering on key employment, skilling, training and diversity activities in line with project aspirations and obligations.

This role is responsible for end-to-end management of strategic planning, initiative implementation, program administration and reporting of Stakeholder Engagement and Workforce and Industry Participation related activities.

The role will include day-to-day interface with the projects leaderships team, client representatives, key stakeholders and community representatives including Government representatives, not-for-profit groups, education sectors and First Nations groups.

To be successful you will need:

To be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.

Hold, or have the ability to gain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.

Experience managing employment programs, community partnerships, and workforce participation programs.

Experience leading engagement and communication activities for diverse stakeholders and community representatives.

Not essential but experience in construction and property industry will be highly regarded.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, as you will be communicating with diverse groups of internal and external stakeholders.

Be an independent operator, able to manage your own time effectively, and lead and influence internal stakeholders, and project teams.

Experience with data capture, analysis, and reporting.
