Asan **Occupational Health Specialist** at DispatchHealth,you’llplay a key role inensuring employee health and safety, promoting workplace injury prevention, and managing the return-to-work processin accordance withapplicable laws and internal policies.
You’llserve as a trusted resource for employeesinitiatingand navigating the process forworkers’compensation claimsina timelyand efficient manner.Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Total Rewards & Wellbeing,you’llbe a critical member of the People Services team.

**What You'll Do**
**ESSENTIAL** **DUTIES** **AND** **RESPONSIBILITIES** (Otherdutiesmaybeassigned)
**Workers’ Compensation Coordination:**
+ Manage and coordinate workers’ compensation claims frominitialreport through resolution.
+ Act as liaison between employees, management, medical providers, insurance carriers, and legal representatives.
+ Maintainaccuratedocumentation of injury reports, medical records, and claim status updates.
+ Facilitatetimelyreturn-to-work programs andmodifiedduty assignments whenappropriate.
**Employee Health & Safety:**
+ Provide support for pre-employment, periodic, and post-incident medical assessments.
+ Monitor trends in workplace injuries and illnesses and recommend preventive measures.
+ Partnerwith Compliancein workplacesafety audits and ergonomic assessments.
**Compliance & Recordkeeping:**
+ Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, FMLA, HIPAA, and state-specific workers’ comp laws.
+ Maintain confidential medical records and OSHA 300 logs.
+ Assistin preparing documentation for audits and regulatory reviews.
**Training & Education:**
+ Deliver health and safety training sessions to employees and supervisors.
+ Educate staff on injury prevention, proper reporting procedures, and wellness initiatives.
**NON-ESSENTIAL** **DUTIES** **AND** **RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Participate in People Services projects such as system upgrades, process improvements, or M&A integrations.
+ Support vendor evaluations or RFP processes with data gathering or coordination.
+ Contribute to company-wide communications or employee events.
+ Provide backup coverage for other Total Rewards or People Services team members as needed.
**What You Need**
**QUALIFICATIONS**
EDUCATIONANDEXPERIENCE
+ Bachelor’s degree in occupational health, Public Health, Safety Management, or a related fielddesired, Registered Nurse, a plus.
+ Certified Occupational Health Specialist (COHS) credential is preferred.
+ Minimum of three (3) years of experience in occupational health or a related field.
+ Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing workers’ compensation cases.
+ Experience working in healthcare, or corporate environments preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation laws and medical case management.
+ Proficiencywith electronic health records and case management software.
+ Strong communicationand interpersonal skills with an exceptionalservice-oriented mindset.
+ High levelof accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
+ Experience working with HRIS systemsa plus.
+ Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
