Responsibilities Under general direction, ensures timely processing of workers' compensation claims; reviews progress notes to determine accuracy and completeness of documentation related to the worker’s compensation visit. Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity). Qualifications Minimum Education: High School Graduate with courses successfully completed in Business and/or computer studies to include typing. Associates Degree preferred. Minimum Experience: 1year related experience in a high traffic, confidential environment. Must be well organized with ability to deal with all levels of the general public and upper management. Required Certification/Registration: N/A Physical Requirements: Work is sedentary with intermittent walking and standing; operates a Personal Computer; reaches and handles forms; visual acuity required to type and read forms. Working Conditions: Works inside office facilities. Flexibility in schedule necessary. Periodic travel to other locations within the system for cross-coverage purposes.
