Job Description
Lead and manage the configuration and optimization of the Core and Advanced Compensation modules in Workday. This role involves working closely with the PX Compensation teams for both ship and shore to provide strategic consulting and ensure the successful execution of compensation processes. Responsible for the technical configuration of compensation plans, integration of compensation data across modules, and ensuring the overall functionality of Workday compensation features. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure compensation strategies are aligned with organizational goals and best practices.
Responsibilities
Independently lead, configure, and maintain Workday Core and Advanced Compensation from implementation through ongoing optimization.Support compensation review cycles and system enhancements.Collaborate with PX centers of excellence, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable HR technology solutions.Provide expert-level consulting to the PX Compensation team on compensation-related processes, best practices, and troubleshooting.Lead testing and deployment of compensation cycles, changes, and updates, including merit increases, bonus, stock, and allowance plans.Develop and deliver training on new functionality, system processes, and reporting.Provide ongoing support and issue resolution for compensation-related inquiries.Drive continuous improvement efforts by recommending new approaches, processes, and tools to improve compensation strategies.Collaborate with other functional teams to ensure seamless integration of compensation data across systems.Conduct regular audits and ensure data accuracy, compliance with company policies, and alignment with compensation programs.Analyze business processes and resolve issues and concerns.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills
7+ years of proven experience configuring and managing Workday Core and Advanced Compensation.Strong configuration knowledge of Workday Core HCM, Security, and Reporting.Experience in providing strategic consulting and working with senior HR leadership.Proven track record of successfully leading HRIS projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.Deep understanding of compensation structures, pay practices, and market benchmarking.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and influence effectively with cross-functional teams.Skilled at managing large projects or processes simultaneously to meet deadlines.Adept at solving problems, taking initiative, and providing recommendations for improvement and innovation.Ability to analyze data and make recommendations to improve compensation processes and strategies.Strong attention to detail.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.Prior HRIS experience for a publicly traded organization with a large workforce preferred.Workday Pro Compensation Certification desired.Project management certification is a plus.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
