Workday Payroll Lead
**CTG is seeking to fill a Workday US Payroll Consultant opening for our client in New York.** **Location:** Remote **Duration:** 11 months **Duties:** + Serve as a key Workday Payroll subject matter expert for U.S. payroll operations. + Configure and maintain Workday Payroll components, including earnings, deductions, and pay components. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Benefits, Time Tracking, Finance) to ensure seamless payroll processing and system integration. + Troubleshoot payroll issues and implement solutions to ensure accuracy and compliance. + Conduct testing for payroll configuration changes, tax updates, and system enhancements. + Support regular and off-cycle payroll runs, year-end processing, and reporting requirements. + Maintain payroll compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. + Document payroll processes, system configurations, and best practices. **Skills:** + Proficiency in Workday US Payroll, including configuration of earnings, deductions, and payroll processes. + Strong understanding of U.S. payroll tax and compliance regulations. + Ability to identify and resolve payroll-related issues independently. + Experience collaborating with functional areas including HR, Time Tracking, and Benefits. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills. **Experience:** + 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Workday US Payroll. + Proven experience configuring and maintaining payroll elements in Workday. + Prior experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $117,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
