Workday Finance Lead
Job Description One of Insight Global’s clients is seeking an experienced Workday Finance Lead who can start immediately and lead finance workstreams and FDM design during a projects Phase 0, working alongside a Finance FDM Architect and Project Manager. This lead will need to engage with various client leaders across finance functions and manage a small technical team. This person should have background in the healthcare or academic industry and have excellent communication and organization skills. Skills and Requirements Must Haves: • 6+ years of Workday Finance implementation and transformation experience in the healthcare or academic industry • Proven experience leading FDM design- 50/50 management vs. hands-on • Strong understanding of key finance modules: Core Finance, AP, Banking, GL, Consolidation, Expense Reporting, Capital Projects and AR • Background leading workstreams and owning client relationships across multiple finance functions • Experience interviewing clients to understand current state, reviewing documentation, and identifying future state optimization opportunities • Experience managing a team up to 8 people worked on projects for client in 2B+ in revenue or 40,000 employees Plusses: • FDM certification • Experience with Workday Supply Chain and Grants modules
