Workday Engagement Manager HCM & Finance
DXC Technology is looking for a person to join our Workday Iberia team (within the enterprise applications practice in Europe).
Workday Engagement Manager will act independently and advise on or manage the solution deployment for large complex Workday engagements. He/she will provide subject matter expertise supporting delivery, testing and both presales and post-production engagements leading projects from scratch and collaborating with the Business Development Department for some opportunities.
The Workday Engagement Manager will be an important customer spokesperson for the DXC Workday Practice creating strong business cases supported by compelling value propositions and demonstrate how customers can realize substantial value by implementing Workday Solutions.
He/she will also be the leader for Workday projects and also a part of the functional implementation team leading the following as a member of a deployment team, or coach others to successfully: gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to clients supporting.
He/she will provide subject matter expertise across multiple HR and/or Finance domains and contribute world-class approaches to discovery, fit-gap, process design and reengineering.
The Responsibilities
As a key player in our Workday practice, you’ll do more than just deliver—you’ll lead, shape, and grow. From guiding clients through transformation to bringing your voice to the table in how we evolve as a team, this role blends functional expertise, project coordination, and real impact. So, this position involves working closely with clients and colleagues to do the following:
• Take the lead across one or more functional domains (e.g., HCM or Finance), guiding the client from discovery to go-live.
• Coordinate international teams, collaborating with offshore consultants to ensure smooth delivery.
• Be the voice of clarity: provide regular status updates to project managers and keep stakeholders aligned.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and manage client expectations.
• Drive innovation and propose smarter ways to deploy Workday and continuously improve our methodology.
• Lead engaging discovery workshops to uncover business needs and translate them into system designs.
• Business analysis representing a specific area(s) of functional expertise e.g. HCM or/and Finance.
• Work independently and proactively, while staying connected with your team and the Practice Lead. Work as a part of a project team to support architecture, scoping, implementation and post-production phases of the projects.
• Train and empower clients by developing tailored documentation and delivering impactful training sessions to identify data to be converted from legacy systems.
• Test and validate, ensure Workday setups align with business needs through thorough testing. •Support the data cleaning, conversion and respective validation processes.
• Contribute with business development practice, participating in solution design for new clients, and help present offerings to prospects.
The Requirements
We’re looking for a skilled consultant with hands-on Workday experience and the confidence to take the lead. If you’ve delivered real impact on HCM projects, know how to handle clients with ease, and are ready to bring both structure and flexibility to a growing practice, this is your chance to shine.
• Experience in Workday HCM or Finance (one or more projects).
• Workday HCM/Finance Certified and one or more advanced certifications (Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits, etc.). Also Workday Finance is a plus.
• Strong consulting skills, handling customer expectations.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive results.
• Excellent communication skills delivering to functional and management audiences.
• Practical experience gained on Workday implementation projects.
• Good understanding of functional topics (reports, data migration, integrations projects).
• Fluent in English and Spanish (more languages are a plus)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a combination of education, training, and experience. Human Resources, Pedagogy, Business Administration, HR, Psychology, Engineering, Information Systems etc.If you bring curiosity, ownership, and solid experience, we want to meet you.This job can be based remotely as home office based. But also, in any of our Spain offices if desired. It may entail travel to various client sites. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
