Posting Details Posting Details Position Title Work Study Childcare Assistant Student Status Work Study Required- You are required to be a Federal Work Study Recipient to hold this position. Work Location Springfield Campus Department Child Development Center Hiring Range 13.75 Sponsorship Information Applicants must be currently authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States on a full-time basis. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. Department/Employer Operating Hours 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM How many hours per week are required? 7-10 Description of Primary Duties To provide assistance and support to teachers and staff at the child development center. This includes supervision of students and maintaining ratios of the number of adults to children in classrooms with students age 6 weeks to 6 years of age.
Required Qualifications Minimum 2.0 GPA
Excellent communications skills
Ability to follow instructions
Positive attitude
Successful completion of the screening process for Family Care Safety Registry and a DESE background check is required. Must obtain child care licensing training (12 clock hours) annually.
