Within Boomerang Agency, Boomerang FT operates as a next-gen label dedicated to scouting, managing, and developing Gen Z creative talent. We build and guide creative teams, ensuring their skills align with client projects while championing next-gen strategies that push brands forward Overview About the Role This role is specifically for a student who wants to work parttime for Boomerang FT, and focuses on the planning, recruitment, management, and quality control of freelance talent (FT's). You will be the key point of contact for FT's, ensuring smooth collaboration between talent, project managers, and production teams, while also overseeing operational processes with our freelance partner, YoungOnes. Responsibilities Planning & Allocation Keep track of FT availability; Coordinate with Project Managers, Account Managers, and Producers to allocate FTs efficiently; Ensure scoped hours align with actual hours worked. Recruitment & Talent Pool Management Organize job interviews with creative talent; Maintain and update the FT talent pool (contact details, portfolio, skills). FT Management & Quality Control Act as the main point of contact for all FT's; Support FTs with operational and professional needs; Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new FT's; Conduct performance check-ins with Project Management and Production teams; Organize evaluations with internal teams to assess FT performance and quality; Find and assign replacements if needed; Check in with FTs regarding their performance and well-being. YoungOnes Operations Serve as the main operational contact for YoungOnes; Flag gigs, no-shows, and late payments to YoungOnes; Create and manage gigs within the YoungOnes platform; Verify and track hours in YoungOnes; Build and maintain a relationship with the YoungOnes team to stay informed about updates and innovations. Qualifications Who You Are Organized and detail-oriented, with strong planning and coordination skills; A strong communicator who can manage relationships between FTs, clients, and internal teams; Passionate about talent development and ensuring FTs have the best possible experience; Proactive and solution-oriented, ready to find quick replacements when needed; Experienced in freelance talent management, production planning, or project coordination.
