Kforce has a client that is seeking a Work & Resource Planning Lead. Our client has two roles, one based in the Emeryville, CA area and the other one in the Fairfield/Folsom area. In this role, you will support the team by owning demand planning and capacity planning. This is helping the organization essentially align budget, capacity and available resources - and conduct analysis for future years. Duties: * Coordinates and assembles work and resource plans that align with the budget plan * Monitor weekly and annual execution of the work plan by the organization; Understand the effectiveness of, and recommend improvements in business processes, practice and procedures as they relate to the identification of known work and work management data quality in the various work management systems * Supports creating and tracking work plans by analyzing resources and costs * Help develop backup plans, investigate variances, and work with teams to keep projects on track * Prepare updates and presentations, contribute to special projects, and sometimes lead team meetings
