Work Order Specialist
Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey-before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions. Work you'll do This is an exciting project opportunity to support the client with project management for a large-scale program to elevate, reconstruct, or retrofit up to 2,500 residential homes. The Bidding Specialist will leverage Construction Contractor bid estimates to create an engineering estimate for the property's application to the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). They will assess the feasibility of the estimates; and support construction management activities. • Engage with the Operations team in daily and biweekly calls to streamline Construction Management oversight and engagement across the program • Develop engineering estimates based on construction contractor bids • Engage with the construction contractor for construction oversight • Review construction contractor progress reports • Escalate risks and schedule delays to appropriate leaders The team Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact.
