Join our team of professionals who support large-scale government operations by leveraging cutting-edge technology and take your career to the next level!  Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. Formed in 2017 to serve federal and commercial customers, CABS is 8(a) certified and has grown quickly into a leader in the federal IT and Training environment. The Word Processor III will provide administrative and word-processing support for course development and delivery. The Project/Program Manager or the Word Processor Lead will assign the Word Processor III tasks. Responsibilities Provide word processing support as required, including format and layout, grammar, punctuation, pagination, and proofreading from draft through final stages for course developments and deliveries. Provide word processing support for correspondence, reports, agendas, evaluations, biographies, course catalogs/brochures, and other documents in support of EMI programs. Provide professional-quality word processing support for presentations and other visual products. Provide support for webinars and notetaking. Check and fix course materials for Section 508 compliance. Meet with course managers to discuss course revisions and provide updates regarding the status of current projects. Provide transcription of videos to be used for closed captioning and Section 508 compliance. Maintain the electronic files for all courses and store them on a learning content management system as designated by the government. Operate office machines as required. Provide support with classroom registrations. Complete timesheet daily. Complete annual contract and Chenega training requirements. Travel locally up to 10%. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent is required 3+ years of relevant work experience Comprehensive knowledge of word processing applications and office practices. Advanced skills in applying software functions to prepare complex and detailed documents are required. Software includes but is not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Adobe Professional. Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 compliance experience. Must be able to pass a FEMA background check Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Section 508 compliance proficiency is strongly preferred. Must know modern office practices and procedures. Ability to work with a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets (MS Word and Excel), Outlook, and copier equipment. Ability to take notes in meetings, calls, classroom settings, etc. Ability to support webinar training. Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal English. Ability to occasionally work late as needed for classroom setup or emergency support. Possess leadership and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a high-stress, performance-based environment. Ability to self-start and work independently or as a team, both on-site and remotely. Ability to travel locally up to 10% (rare).
