Position Overview:

The Woodfield Teacher will provide academic instruction for youth residing at Woodfield Detention Center. The Woodfield Teacher will facilitate a comprehensive curriculum that encompasses 5.5 hours of academic and vocational instruction each day focusing on NY state core subject matter.  

Position Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher and Practical Teaching Experience preferred OR Bachelor’s degree or higher with 2 years of Transferrable Classroom Setting Teaching Experience. Exceptional Interpersonal Skills. Excellent Communication Skills. Expert Motivational Skills
