The Airborne Systems Division, within the Defense Group at Leidos is seeking Electrical Technician to join our Beavercreek Ohio, Pentagon Blvd. office.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the Air Force Research Labs (AFRL) Sensors Directorate and the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) programs to perform research and development in the areas of open systems architecture (OSA) and rapid integration and demonstration of ISR technologies. In support of this multi-year high visibility program, your position as a Electrical Technician will be to support USAF programs at Wright Patterson Air Force Base through a combination of laboratory, ground, and flight testing.
Primary Responsibilities
Manufacture/Assembly of cables and harnesses Review designs with electrical and mechanical engineering teams for manufacturabilityPerform component testing and verification of completed assembliesBasic Qualifications
5+ Years prior relevant experience manufacturing or assembling cables and harnessesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExperience with troubleshooting electrical connectivity issuesFamiliarity with common electrical tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power metersAbility to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplined engineering teamExperience with assembly/disassembly of Military connectors (D38999)Familiar with Military and Aerospace requirementsAbility to obtain a DoD Secret security clearanceSecurity Clearance Qualifications
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.Preferred Qualifications
Active DoD Secret (or higher) ClearanceExperience in electrical subsystems for airborne platforms (manned and unmanned), ground stations, ISR podsExperience in DoD information security devices (e.g data diodes, cryptographic equipment, and cross-domain solutions)Experience in product lifecycle process to include identifying/mitigating risks, bench and SIL testing, and product deployment and maintenancePrevious Flight-line experienceSetting up hardware for testing (discrete and analog signals, RS-232, USB, Ethernet, Fiber) • Experience with using electrical measurement tools for troubleshooting and fault isolation, such as: multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, signal analyzers, and signal generatorsTroubleshooting and fault isolation skills (e.g. ohmmeters, network testers oscilloscopes, signal generators, RF analyzers)Come break things (in a good way). Then build them smarter.
