Wiring Harness Technician Culver City, California **Onsite** Contract Up to $28/hr Our client is an American multinational telecommunications company known for its pioneering role in the mobile communications industry. We have an opening for a hands-on **Wiring Harness Technician** to support the setup of internal QA test harnesses. This role is ideal for candidates with low-voltage wiring experience, strong technical documentation skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. **Location:** Culver City, CA 90230 (100% onsite) **Duration:** 6 months (with potential for extension) **Work Hours:** 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM **Top 3 Must-Have Skills** + Low-voltage wiring and harness assembly - including cutting, crimping, soldering, terminating, and routing wires (e.g., Cat 6, 22 gauge). + Tool proficiency - crimpers, wire strippers, multimeters, and soldering tools (SMT and through-hole). + Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. **Qualifications** + 1-3 years of hands-on experience with wiring and harness assembly. + Ability to read and follow basic wiring diagrams and schematics. + Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs with assistance). + Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. + Must pass a full drug panel screening (safety-sensitive role). **Nice-to-Have Skills** + J-STD-001 Certification or similar. + Experience with access control systems, cameras, or network installations (RJ45, keystones, etc.). + Familiarity with Linux or Mac terminal environments. **Ideal Candidate Profile** + Certified technician with experience in wiring harness assembly and low-voltage testing. + Skilled in soldering, crimping, and routing wires. + Comfortable working from technical documentation. + Familiar with Cat 6, RJ45, and network cabling. + Strong documentation and communication skills. + Available to work onsite and start within 2 weeks. **What You Will Be Doing** + Build and install test wiring harnesses for internal QA. + Cut and run Cat 6 and other low-voltage wires to devices/cutting cat 6 wire and wiring to devices. + Perform basic testing (continuity, low-voltage). + Document wire movements and inventory using Google Sheets. + Use Jira and Google Workspace for task tracking and documentation. + Collaborate closely with engineering and QA teams. + Running wire, cutting wire, wiring setup. + May have to run test + Ability to read and follow wire harness assembly instructions + Experience working with access control or cameras is a plus. + Terminal experience is a plus because they can have them run test if needed. + Terminal experience means someone with Linux terminal experience, Mac terminal experience is also acceptable.
