Wire Harness Assembler
**Job Title: Wire Harness Assembler** **Job Description** Join a dynamic team committed to excellence in electronic and mechanical assembly operations. This role involves working with a range of assemblies including modules, boards, panels, and cables. The ideal candidate will utilize hand and power tools, follow diagrams and drawings, and make continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies. **Responsibilities** + Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies. + Work from diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts. + Utilize hand and power tools, jigs, and saws for assembly tasks. + Conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications. + Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies. + Follow written instructions to build cable harnesses. **Essential Skills** + Blueprint reading and interpretation. + Experience in assembly, production, soldering, and crimping. + Proficiency in wire harness assembly, wire termination, and hand assembly. + Ability to use hand tools and microscopes. + Experience in electronic and mechanical assembly. + Knowledge of electrical assembly, PCB, and wiring. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + IPC-610, IPC-620, and IPC J-STD-001 certifications. + IPC-7711/IPC-7721 certification for rework and repair. + High mechanical aptitude is essential. + Prior experience with IPC 610/620 requirements and cable assembly is preferred. + Ability to strip, crimp, and assemble copper and coax wire using hand tools. + Capability to follow processes and understand print instructions. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy working in a climate-controlled facility with state-of-the-art equipment. The facility is air-conditioned, providing a comfortable and spacious work environment where employees have their own work stations. Choose between two shifts: 1st shift from 5am to 3:30pm Monday through Thursday, or 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 2am Monday through Thursday, with Fridays scheduled off. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OLDSMAR, FL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
