Job Description:

An equipment operator in the drawing department will be required to run the finish draw lines and/or shavers. The operator is required to follow all safety and quality requirements and be able to meet productivity expectations consistently.

Functions

Load and unload 190 and/or 600 lb reels by rolling them into and out of the payoff and take up mechanismsSet up and change over the machine efficientlyPerform quality checks per control plansFollow safety protocols and operate in a safe mannerTransfer/enter information clearly and accuratelyOperate the machine at specified production ratesTroubleshoot basic issues on the equipmentWork overtime as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Flexible, open-minded team playerGood math skillsDetailed oriented person keeping errors to a minimumAbility to read, understand, and follow written practicesConsistently shows up to work on time and is at their machine ready to work at start of shiftGood mechanical aptitude that allows operator to operate and troubleshoot equipment effectivelyAbility to stand, walk, bend, and crouch regularly
