Opportunity Overview
The Windows Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, planning, implementation, and support of the Microsoft Windows environment, with a strong focus on Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. This role requires deep technical expertise in Windows Server administration and enterprise-level infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Design, install, and configure internal and customer-facing servers with a primary focus on providing Microsoft Windows OS Support (2016, 2019, 2022)
+ Direct and provide Tier 3 support for our Technical Support and Help Desk staff. This requires expert knowledge of Desktop Hardware and Operating Systems.
+ Manage incidents using our issue tracking systems
+ Perform VM administration using different Virtualization Platform (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V and Azure Cloud)
+ Manage Dell servers and process hardware replacement from vendor
+ Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
+ Contribute to current standards and provide improvements when necessary
+ Research and assess future technology options to support technology growth and maturity.
+ Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge sharing for other technical staff in the department.
+ Write detailed procedures and update knowledgebase.
+ Be part of rotational on-call for high severity issues and outages.
+ Perform root cause analysis and change control process.

Minimum Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer engineering, related field or equivalent experience.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience of system administration with Windows Server 2016, 2019 & 2022 operating systems.
+ Expert in Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, File and Print services, RDS and Group Policy Management.
+ Expert in maintaining server environments including security patches, firmware upgrades, hot fixes, service packs, intermediate versions / full version upgrades.
+ Experience with PowerShell scripting.
Preferred Job Requirements:
+ 5+ years’ experience in server and desktop virtualization platforms such as VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix XenApp Server and XenDesktop preferred.
+ 5+ years’ experience in Dell server management preferred.
+ Azure cloud experienced (Azure AVD, Intune, Microsoft Entra ID) experience in DevOps environment is a plus.
+ Experienced on Endpoint Security (CrowdStrike, Windows Defender, BitLocker).
+ MS certification is plus: MCSA, MCSE, AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-800 and AZ-801.
