Job Description:

Position Overview:  Thisposition isresponsible for the design, maintenance, and day to day operationalsupport ofTE’s global network security (Firewall/Proxy) architectures. The individual inthis role will be involved in thearchitecture/strategy, day-to-day management,and projects associated with thenetwork architectures. They will join a team tobe the day-to-day support forall Firewall and Proxy related networkinfrastructure.  Key objectives inthisrole are technology standardization, simplification, and automation ofthefirewalls while considering reliability and scalability. Responsibilities- Maintain andadminister IDC networks and related computing environments- Maintainingnetwork resources, focusing on configuration of network firewall, securitypolicies, operating systems, applications and services in a wired and wirelessenvironment- Providetechnical expertise in areas of Network security policies and Firewalltechnologies- Design,install, and maintain highly complex global network and firewall architectures.- Manages andcontinually improve firewalls security policies.- Monitors anddrives Firewall upgrades, patching, replacement, and lifecycle management toensure environment stability and audit compliance.  - Proactivelymonitors and tune the Firewall architecture to achieve optimum performancelevels; provide performance statistics and reports. - Perform avariety of tasks associated to the network infrastructure to support growth,performance improvement, and security initiatives- Meet allapplicable Security requirements specified in any Buyer and SupplierInformation Security Policies and Models, Addendum and its IT ControlsAttachment, and contractual requirements, legislative and statutoryrequirements, and as expressed in the Service Levels- RecommendData Network security policy requirements and solutions on an ongoing basis.- Ensure thatthe EM network is secure and meeting standard operating procedures.- Ensureinstallation of those devices that comply with Buyer standards and securitypolicies unless approved by the Buyer- Develop andupdate data network security policies/procedures  in accordance with the applicable ChangeManagement Process- Providesecurity information reporting (i.e. system operational performance based onsecurity standards).- Provide inputto Proxy/Data Network security policies/procedures in accordance with theapplicable Change Management Process.- Proactivelyparticipates in the resolution of ServiceNow tickets by taking ownership oftickets, resolving and closing with proper detail. Works with other engineersto assist in the closure of tickets where applicable. - Delivervarious cybersecurity initiative to Supplier site  - Participatein cybersecurity awareness initiatives and implement follow-ups identifiedSkills and Qualifications·       Minimum Skills – Technology on LAN/WAN,IPAM, Firewall, NAC.·       Bachelor's degree in a technical fieldsuch as Computer Science, Technical, Engineering,Information Technology, etc.·       Minimum of 4-6 years experience innetwork Support.·       Strong knowledge of Network Securityprinciples ·       Strong knowledge of Cloud-Based SecureWeb Gateway such as BloxOne Threat Defense·       Strong experience with Zscaler CloudProxy technology (Other vendors expertise considered) ·       Strong understating of EnterpriseNetworking (ports/protocols/packets) ·       Strongknowledge of Enterprise DataCenter Networking (Ex: Cisco ACI)·       Strong knowledge of ApplicationArchitecture ·       Solid knowledge  of network infrastructure(routing/switching), cloud networking security, and proxy services in order totroubleshoot PC, server, and application Firewall issues·       Experience in IDC Network Management·       Expertise in LAN/WAN networkingincluding firewalls, routing and switching·       Maintain the integrity, functionality,and operation of the network at all times·       Plan, coordinate and implement networksecurity for hardware and software·       Monitoring network maintenanceactivities and ensuring prompt troubleshooting of network problems·       Experience with Network Automation ·       Other skills: Ansible, GitHub, Python Other Qualifications: ·      Good English communication skills(written and oral)·      ITIL V3 FoundationCertification isdesired. ·      Experiencedin working within an IT support function·      Ability to prioritize issues and toquickly findsolutions. ·      Ability to quickly comprehend thefunctions andcapabilities of new technologies.·      Ability to learn and adapt to newframeworks/technologies and quickly integrate with them for automation servicedelivery·      Able to find effective workarounds toproduct limitations/constraints·      Team worker with strong ownership anddrive·       Interact with immediate supervisor, teamlead, team members,customers, and users on a daily basis·      Experienced with working in a large,global, follow-the-sun organization.
