Roles & Responsibilities

To develop and maintain software (GUI & backend based on SIMATIC WinCC OA) for an automation platform.Good hands-on experience in WinCC OA - PARA, GEDI, CTRL Scripts, Panel Topology, AES configurations, Scripts & Libraries, NextGen Archive, influxDB, connecting to periphery, Variable trends etc., To implement platform features for the graphical user interface as well as backend processes using model driven design, UML and standards e.g. ISA 88Develop and implement the platform features related to the requirement using WinCC OA tool.Write clear, easy to maintain, high quality code that is optimized for performance.Adhere to good automation, manufacturing, and documentation practice.Experience on Network protocol – IEC61850, IEC 101, 104 etc.,Project Engineering \"Human Machine Interface (HMI)\" for HVDC control & protection systems (HMI as central interface for Operation and Monitoring of the HVDC plantCreation and maintenance of project specific technical specifications, documents & manuals. Clarification of concepts and functions to be implemented with internal departments and external customers.Creation of the HMI configuration. Visualization of plant items, operating states and -parameters on the HMI screens.   Design of the centralized signal reporting (Alarming & event recording).System integration and commissioning of the HMI in the test bed (Verification of proper communication between the various components including signal checks). Conduct/ support Factory Acceptance Tests with sub suppliers and customersTechnical support during commissioning phases

Competencies

5+ years of experience in the concepts, design, and development of control / GUI software preferrable in HVAC/HVDC Transmission domainDegree in electrical engineering, automation technology or similarExperience in project engineering, customer clarification, working in complex teamsUnderstanding for SCADA systems as part of energy transmission system (Substations, etc.)Will be an added advantage if he/she has experience in source code handling tools (svn/git)Technical English

Automation technologySCADA systems and operation philosophy of energy transmission plantsExpert know how: HMI - Configuration with software application WinCC OA Signal- and process - data processing and Object - oriented programming languagesProtocols for energy automation systems like IEC101, IEC104, IEC61850, OPC, DNP,..) and the corresponding communication structures.
