Responsible for providing process-related support for the molding department to achieve robust manufacturing processes, which may include injection molding, thermoforming, extrusion, painting, or CNC workstations. Works to improve manufacturing processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability.

Role and ResponsibilitiesEnsure jobs are set up to run quality partsReview Plant Intelligence Center monitors to determine mold change priorities and monitor quality and efficiencySet up and start machines following the setup sheets/program for each process, ensuring the product meets customer standardsSet up secondary equipment and fixturesInvestigate and determine machine adjustments needed to provide quality parts, correct high scrap rate, improve efficiency, or address other production-related issuesProvide the finished product as needed for obtaining the first and tenth part approvalComplete documentation on all work performed, including creation/modification of process setup sheetsAssist with the training of operators regarding the operation of the machine and secondary equipmentPerform minor machine repairs or maintenance and communicate machine issues to the supervisor/maintenance teamTag molds for tooling enhancement work or repairsAssist with root cause analysis and corrective actionsObserve all established safety rules and regulations, including Lock Out Tag Out requirements maintain the work area in a neat and orderly condition

Pay Range:

23.70 - 35.56
